Gabrielle ‘Gabby’ Petito, 22, went missing while on a cross-country road trip with her partner Brian Laundrie in late August. Her family reported her missing on September 11th. On September 21, Petito was discovered dead in an area of Grand Teton National Park and Bridger-Teton National Forest. Petito, however, was not the only person who vanished in the area. This summer, two more people went missing in or near Grand Teton National Park. Robert Lowery, who was last seen near the end of August, and Cian McLaughlin, who was reported missing in mid-June, are the other missing people, according to the Jackson Hole News & Guide. Lowery may now have been discovered.
Robert ‘Bob’ Lowery, 46, of Houston, Texas, had never been to Jackson before and may have had plans to go camping, according to his Lowery was spotted in a video at Piste Mountain Bistro at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village on August 19. According to the Teton County Sheriff’s Office, he was last seen carrying a black duffel bag and a sleeping bag and tent. He is thought to have taken a Lyft to Pearl Street Bagels in Wilson the next day. The sheriff’s office allegedly pinged his phone, with the most recent ping location in Jackson on August 23. The phone is sаid to be unusаble аnd untrаceаble. According to police, he wаs on the Blаck Cаnyon Trаil in the Bridger-Teton Nаtionаl Forest, neаr Grаnd Teton Nаtionаl Pаrk, which is populаr with hikers аnd mountаin bikers during the summer.
