Well, Cristian Romero is finally a Tottenham Hotspur player.
Spurs confirmed on Friday that they had signed the Argentina international from Atalanta.
There was a lot of speculation prior to the deal being done, but now it finally is and Tottenham fans can look forward to seeing him in action.
Fabio Paratici has a vast contact network in Italy after joining the Lilywhites from Juventus during the summer.

But there’s another person who could perhaps deserve credit for signing Romero – Pierluigi Gollini.
Like Romero, the Italian goalkeeper has signed for the North Londoners from Atalanta [albeit on loan] and the South American has revealed that he was bombarded with encouraging words about the club from his reunited teammate.
He said: “Pier as a player is doing an amazing career, he’s a great lad, we’ve enjoyed a lot. Now we have the chance to play together again. He’s really funny, a great friend and a crazy rapper.
“Yes he was there with a welcome sign. He was always texting me to telling me how great this club was.”
Debut
There’s an early North London derby tomorrow as Tottenham host Arsenal in a pre-season friendly.
And with Romero not being obligated to quarantine due to the fact he is vaccinated and coming from Italy, he is eligible to make a swift debut.
Gollini made his bow in the clash against Chelsea in midweek – and what an impressive debut it was, too.
Both players could well face off against the Gunners on Sunday.
