Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s ex charged in domestic violence arrest

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s ex, Jen Harley, was hit with a criminal complaint stemming from her June arrest in Las Vegas.

Harley was formally charged with one felony count of assault with a domestic weapon constituting domestic violence, and one misdemeanor count of battery constituting domestic violence, E! News reported on Thursday.

However, her attorney maintained her innocence to the outlet and said in a statement, “We believe the charges are unsubstantiated and that overwhelming mitigating evidence exists that Jen did not commit any crime. We look forward to our day in court and having all charges against Ms. Harley dismissed.”

Page Six reported that Harley was arrested in June for alleged domestic battery and assault with a deadly weapon. She was booked at the Clark County Detention Center with her bail set at $5,000.

Harley, 33, reportedly lost two brand partnerships after the arrest — one with Bellesa and one with Posh Baby and Kids.

While the brands cut their ties with Harley, her rep was adamant at the time that she was not “dropped” because she did not have ongoing contracts.

She checked into rehab in July following the arrest.

She was previously arrested for allegedly throwing an ashtray at Ortiz-Magro, 35, in 2019.

Meanwhile, he was arrested in October of that year for allegedly striking her and chasing her with a knife. Two of the seven charges against him were dropped in February 2020.

Their tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship seems to be done for good, as Ortiz-Magro popped the question to Saffire Matos — coincidentally on the same day as Harley’s recent arrest.

Still, Harley and the “Jersey Shore” star share a 3-year-old daughter, Ariana.
