Russia’s Wedding Of The Year: Millionaire Maria Solodar, 30, Marries Entrepreneur Joan Schnelzauer, 33; Luxury Wedding Ceremony in Front of Victoria Falls.

In September, a bride pulled out all the stops for her big day, which took place close to the magnificent Victoria Falls in Zambia. The five-day event labeled the “wedding of the year” featured various extraordinary details.

Self-made millionaire Maria Solodar’s £3 million (about $4.1 million) wedding was a noteworthy event that featured wine from France and black caviar from Russia. Every detail was carefully chosen to meet the couple’s wildest dreams and expectations.

To marry her beloved Joan Schnelzauer, Solodar wore a wedding dress made by the esteemed designer, Vera Wang. For the afterparty, she changed into a stunning piece by Zuhair Murad. Her groom also looked dapper in a stylish black suit.

Despite the luxury of the day, the couple who met in Dubai calls themselves “down to earth.” Solodar said she never wanted a “magnificent wedding.” In fact, she added: “I am not about dressing up and putting makeup on. It’s just not my style.”

Their guests were flown in on private jets before being housed in The Royal Livingstone Hotel, where they were treated like royalty for close to a week. The lucky attendees were also serenaded by international musicians such as Helena Segara.

Both bride and groom are successful entrepreneurs that started small. Solodar started off selling backpacks in her birth country, Ukraine. She has come a long way from there, and now, the famous web guru could afford a dream wedding.

The celebrations have been dubbed “the most expensive wedding” of 2021. The bride shared her own sentiments about the nuptial experience and called it “the adventure of the century.” She was overjoyed with how everything turned out.

While things appeared to be perfect from the photos, pulling off the proceedings was not easy. Initially, Zambia would not allow their big stage into the country. Additionally, their kitchen, which was to serve guests, was held up at the border for three days.

It finally made it into the country with 3 hours to spare. From chefs to sommeliers, the couple brought everything that they needed into the country. The bride told people why they went all out with their celebration, and it was for a special reason.

The big party and proceedings were all perfected for their families. The wedding meant a lot to them and even caused guests to cry because everything was so beautiful. Uniting their friends and family on the auspicious occasion was their ultimate goal.

The couple wanted to kick back and relax in a place that was inaccessible to everyone else. They couldn’t think of a better wedding venue than Victoria Falls, a true wonder of the world.
