Salma Hayek celebrated turning 55 on Thursday in typical fashion: by posting a sizzling swimsuit snap on social media.
The “Like a Boss” beauty posed on the beach in a bright blue one-piece with a halter neckline, with palm trees and waves providing a perfectly picturesque backdrop.
“Happy 55th birthday to me 💃🏻 looking forward to new adventures #grateful,” Hayek captioned the shot. She also added the same message in Spanish, along with the hashtag #vivalavida.
Jason Momoa, Richard Madden, Pierce Brosnan and British Vogue EIC Edward Enninful were among the many who flocked to the comments to wish Hayek a happy birthday.
Last year, the actress similarly rang in her big day in a bathing suit, modeling a sunny yellow cutout maillot by Melissa Odabash along with a matching maxi skirt.
Hayek recently sounded off on ageist stereotypes on Jada Pinkett Smith’s “Red Table Talk,” saying, “There’s no expiration dates for women. That has to go. Because you can kick ass at any age. You can hold your own at any age, you can dream at any age, you can be romantic at any age.”
She also opened up about her “liberating” bikini posts earlier this year, sharing that she’ll often snap a ton of photos during tropical trips and save them for later.
“They’re going to think I’m wearing a bikini every day,” she joked. “No, [my pics are] all from the same location.”
Added the star of her signature beach snaps, “I’m glad I took a lot of pictures, I have no shame on it.”
