NBC’s popular singing competition show ‘The Voice’ is a dream platform for many aspiring musicians looking to break into the music industry. Season 21 of ‘The Voice’ drew in some of the most talented performers from across the country hoping to be mentored by one of the coaches and possibly win the competition. The coaches included country music legend Blake Shelton, EGOT recipient John Legend, Grammy winners Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande. Lucas O’Reilly, a 20-year-old performer from Newport, Rhode Island, was one such performer. Lucas has always been drawn to music and began playing the guitar at the age of six. He began his musical career by playing guitar in a garage band. He had the opportunity to perform in front of an audience when he was 18 years old. Despite his fears and apprehensions, the young musician soon realized that music was his true calling. As a result, he began to concentrate on it, and he is now considering dabbling in singing. Lucas is a guitarist who also enjoys singing, so he decided to audition for ‘The Voice’ to see if switching from guitar to singing would be a good idea. Sadly for Lucas, despite the fact that none of the coaches turned against him during the auditions, he still managed to capture the attention of the audience.
