Shopper shows off HUGE cleaning haul after Febreze & Glade products were reduced to 25p in Wilko

LET’S be honest – we have absolutely no self-control when it comes to the reduced section of any shop, especially if our favourite cleaning products have been discounted.

So when this savvy shopper saw Glade and Febreze ranges had been slashed to just 25p in their local Wilko, they didn’t hang around.

Posting on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, the woman showed off her HUGE haul with the 1.7m members.

Along with six Glade Petal & Blossom wall plug-ins, the shopper also bagged four air fresheners, five spray holders, two candles and four automatic sprays – which would ordinarily cost £12 each.

And if that wasn’t enough, the woman stocked up on four bottles of limited edition Febreze Lily-scented air mist.

What’s more, the cleaning fan also snapped up a further four bottles of £2.99 Febreze Unstoppables room spray for for £1.

And to finish off, they added another four bottles of Febreze fabric freshener to their bumper haul – which usually cost £2 in most supermarkets.

Needless to say, the woman was especially proud of her huge savings and alerted other bargain-hunters to the discounted Wilko items.

In a follow-up post, she revealed she’d been there as the store opened at 8am and added the items to her cart as they were still being put out.

That said, the post racked up hundreds of comments from users who argued that the “selfish” shopper should have left some products for others.

“Total bargain,” one replied. “But some people have gone crazy and brought most of it…”

“Well I wouldn’t go to this Wilko,” another added. “There wont be anything left for anyone as looks like you bought it all.”

A third wrote: “Aaaaaand now there’s none for anyone else!”

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “When people buy like this I think they are being selfish as there is never any left for other people.”

However, others were quick to jump to her defence and argued they’d be the same.

One supporter wrote: “I don’t understand why people think it’s wrong to over buy these bargains.

“If you see a bargain like it and want it I don’t see why it’s an issue. Everyone who is going to see a bargain like that will be like this person.”

Another added: That’s a real bargain, thank you!”
