“Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins” Jumps To Digital Tomorrow

Paramount released “Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins” as a theatrical only feature on July 23rd and the results were not good.

Shot on a budget of around $90 million, the Henry Golding-led film has only managed to generate $35.2 million worldwide in just over three weeks.

With its ticket sales effectively done and dusted already,it appears Paramount has decided to forego the new traditional 45-day window and make as much money from it where they can.

As a result, the movie will now be released digitally for purchase and PVOD rental from tomorrow (August 17th) in the United States and next week in international territories.

That comes several weeks ahead of the planned launch on Paramount+ in early-mid September (no specific date as yet), and disc releases (including 4K) on October 19th. The disc release will include deleted scenes and several featurettes.
