The teenage daughter of a BBC star has been told she can no longer stay at her £20,000 a year boarding school after being found in possession of drugs, according to reports.
Sources who know the girl and her family claim that the she was unable to settle into the new term after getting into the party scene during summer holidays.
It is claimed that school staff found drugs in her possession and informed her parents of the discovery, reports The Mirror.
The school and parents who cannot be named for legal reasons, then talked about the issues over Zoom and her parents were asked to pick her up the next day.
The Sun reported: “The celebrity mum is disappointed and upset as she loved the school and has an incredibly busy work schedule.
“Both parents begged to let her stay but the head has a one strike and you’re out policy.
“It’s a shame as she was popular and bright even if she was distracted by extra-curricular activities.
“The star had her own issues with partying so doesn’t blame her. She just doesn’t want her to throw her opportunities away.”
The parents of the girl are said to be looking for another school for their daughter imminently.
