“My heart is broken, and writing this feels so wrong, and I’m not sure what to say..” I lost my brother, best friend, and the other half of my heart yesterday. “On this planet, there was no one I loved more,” she wrote at the time. “There are no words that could possibly do him justice.” To know him was to fall in love with him. “I’m so happy God chose me to be his sister for his entire amazing life,” Meredith continued, describing her brother as the “happiest brightest smiley most sunshine human to exist.” ”
The next day, in an Instagram Story message to her brother, the model, 22, promised to “bring your smile around the world and pour your love into every person in my life..” Paris Hilton, Amelia Hamlin, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Kaia Gerber were among the celebrities who mourned Mickelson’s death. Cindy Crawford’s daughter took to social media to pay tribute to her late friend, sharing memories of a day they spent devising their “own secret language,” which they continued to use whenever they came face to face. “I wish we could go back there..”
“I wish we could still speak in sentences that irritated everyone else but made us laugh every time,” she continued. “I wish I was still FaceTiming you from my bathroom floor because it was the only place I had wifi and I didn’t want to miss a call from you.” Thank you for being the source of so much joy аnd lаughter аround the world.
