THE Radford family has gained another member as mum-of-22 Sue announced that she has become a grandmother once again, after her son Chris welcomed his third child.
Taking to her Instagram stories, a thrilled Sue, 46, from Morecambe, Lancs, shared a snap of her new grandson.
Captioning her post, she wrote: “I have been itching to share this news all day, welcome to the family beautiful boy!”
The photo had been taken by Chris, and had been shared on his own Instagram account, where he wrote: “Such little fingers, such little toes. Such lively eyes and such a adorable nose. A mouth so tiny and a smile so sweet.
“Welcome to the world little man. Welcome to the family.”
Chris Radford is the eldest child in the family.
He is married to Nicole Spencer and the couple share a house together.
They were already parents to two two children, Maisie and Jacob.
Sue fell pregnant with Chris at just 14 in 1988 and was determined to keep the baby.
The birth of Chris on May 7 1989 sparked a long romance between Sue and Noel, and 21 more children have followed in quick succession.
Chris is now 31 and has moved out of the family’s former care home in Morecambe and into his own house nearby.
Chris does not feature in the new Channel 5 documentary 22 Kids & Counting and rarely features on the family’s social media.
Sue explained that Chris wanted to take a step back from the media.
He does pay regular visits to his family home where he will often indulge in his favourite takeaway – an Indian.
It is believed that, like many of the older Radford children, Chris started out working in his dad Noel’s bakery.
Since moving out Chris now works as a glazier to support his family.
