According to Page Six, multiple sources confirmed that Lena Dunham and Luis Felber married over the weekend of September 25. Felber alluded to the nuptials on his Instagram Story by posting the song “This Will Be Our Year” by the Zombies. Their wedding comes three and a half years after she split from musician and frequent Taylor Swift collaborator Jack Antonoff after 5 years together.
Following the reveal of her boo in The New York Times in April, Dunham has shared a few glimpses into her relationship with the English-Peruvian musician professionally known as Attawalpa. In May, she posted on Instagram about his new video for his song “Yellow Fingers”. The writer and actor wrote, “Brand new song & video from my [heart emoji] @attawalpa and by gosh I believe he’s done it again…It’s so special – and nice green ‘knickers’ my love, did not know those moves were in you.”Â
The “Not That Kind of Girl” author posted for her new beau’s birthday on Instagram in June writing, “When I was 3 weeks old in downtown Manhattan, I had no idea a baby was being born in England (Winchester, no less!) who would rocket into my life- wearing a lime green polar fleece snood- and challenge so many of my beliefs about myself and the world with magical abandon.” Dunham also supported her love during the All Points East Festival in August, writing on Instagram, “Thrilling watching you do what you were born to do.”
