This Soap Stars Just Joined One Of This Year’s Hallmark Christmas Movies

What’s the holiday season without Hallmark Christmas movies? Yes, we admit to being a bit addicted. We’re not the only ones. Even the actors have come out and spoken about how much these movies mean to them and how enjoyable they are. Recently, we’ve learned a few details about one of the movies set for the 2021 season. Let’s take a look at a couple of the familiar faces soap fans can find in one in particular.

Hallmark Christmas movies: Next stop, Christmas

Every year, Hallmark Christmas movies premiere. There are so many, it can be hard to keep up. And we’ll admit that a lot of the films tend to be interchangeable. However, every now and then you get a really unique one, like the film where a character was stuck in a Christmas movie. Next Stop, Christmas is the first one we can remember hearing of for this year’s line-up.

While no real plot details are out that we’ve seen, the title definitely hints at a travel aspect. Fans might not have to wait too long to see this one, as it’s already begun filming. We’ll keep an eye out for new updates on a plot and premiere. But for now, we noticed there are a couple of familiar faces listed as being attached to the project.

Hallmark Christmas movies: Keeping busy

First, Chandler Massey (Will Horton, Days of Our Lives) hasn’t been seen in Salem for a while. After the surprising news that Wilson was being let go, the duo decided to start a new life elsewhere. However, it seems Massey didn’t sit idly by during his off time, as he is slated to be in Next Stop, Christmas. If Hallmark Christmas movies of the past are any indicator, we have a feeling he might be involved in a love story. But we’ll see.

In the meantime, fans can catch Massey in action when Beyond Salem premieres on September 6th. Judging by the preview video, we think this is going to be quite a ride. And this Christmas movie will be a nice change of pace from the Salem drama.

Hallmark Christmas movies: Daytime legend signs on

The latest development has us feeling a bit nostalgic. See, when we were kids, we had relatives that would watch One Life to Live. For a brief time, we watched as well and we always liked Victoria Lord Buchanan (Erika Slezak). So the news Slezak’s joined the cast as well is making us more interested in this movie. The actress apparently described the part as being small, but we’re sure it’ll be a memorable one.
