If you haven’t tried the viral TikTok accordion potato trend, this is your sign! They are seriously so crispy and delicious. Plus, they only take about 20 minutes to make! These are sure to be a hit at your next barbecue or gathering!

You start off by peeling a large russet potato and cutting off the ends, turning it into a giant rectangle shape. Then, cut it in half, the long way. Place chopsticks on both sides of the potato and make cuts throughout the whole potato, without cutting all the way through. You then want to flip the potato and cut across again, but this time cut on a diagonal. At this point, it should resemble an accordion. Take a skewer and pierce it through the center of the potato. Now, it’s time for the seasoning. In this TikTok, she used oil with Za’atar, cayenne, salt, and pepper but you can really use any seasonings that you’d like. Brush the mixture onto both sides of the accordion potato and bake at 425°F until crispy (approximately 15-20 minutes).
