A tiny flat with the cooking hob right next to the bed has gone on the market, but it appears to be missing a key feature.

Located in Kensington, one of London’s most affluent postcodes, the studio property is furnished with a kitchenette, single bed and chest of drawers.

Buy sharp-eyed flat hunters will surely spot something is missing in the £400-a-month flat.

The compact studio flat offers a shower, set up next the wardrobe, but there’s no toilet to be found.

A listing on Gumtree makes no mention of a toilet at all leaving potential tenants to speculate about what they can expect if they decide to move in.

The property advert says the apartment comes “with its own facilities”.

“It’s close to all local amenities, including shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and supermarkets,” the advert says.

“Newly decorated, plus wood flooring.”

Pictures show a small table set up opposite a sink, fridge and two-ring electric hob.

The shower, meanwhile, stands between a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.

And a mattress lies next the door and looking out over a large sash window.

But despite the important, but missing toilet, property experts reckon there will be plenty of people queueing up to view the property because of its location.

It is close to major Tube stations West Kensington, Barons Court and Earls Court.

Bus services, meanwhile, travel to destinations including the West End, Chelsea, Fulham and Notting Hill.

The average cost of renting a property in the prestigious W14 postcode is £534 a week, according to Foxtons.

This means a new tenant will have secured the top address at a rock-bottom price.

And London is well-known for being particularly challenging for those on a budget.

Earlier this month images emerged of a Notting Hill flat described as “spacious” by landlord despite omitting a shower and bed.

Agents then described the bedsit as “fully furnished” in a glowing ad on Gumtree.
