But now their baby girl is on the mend and the couple – who are parents to five other children – hope she will be out of hospital on Wednesday.

Paris shared a sweet video of her baby girl changing out of her swaddle and into a fresh white onesie with a matching bow on her head.

More importantly, the tube in her nose that was feeding her oxygen is gone – a sign that she’s on the mend and almost ready to head home.

Yesterday, in a video from hospital, in which Fury was feeding Athena, the champ said: “Just here, feeding my little girl.

“Off the ICU, on the mend, should be going home soon. Thank you to God, thank you to all the doctors and nurses who have helped her.”

Over the past week the pair have kept their fans up to date with how their bundle of joy has been getting on.

Earlier this week new mum Paris, 31, shared footage of her by Athena’s bed side as she slept peacefully.

The tot looked adorable wrapped up warm in a pink blanket surrounded by a selection of cute cuddly toys.

The mum-of-six played Tunda Beats’ song Beautiful Day in the background of the post.

Her post came just two days after Tyson, 33, revealed his newborn is in a ‘stable’ condition – but remains in the intensive care unit.

Athena seemed to be on the mend at the start of the week, but was put back into the ICU on Tuesday.

He wrote on his Instagram story: “Update for everyone. Baby Athena is well and has had a stable day off [the] ventilator.

“Thanks to everyone for the prayers, still in the ICU for now.

“Thanks to all the Drs and nurses. God bless you all.”

Earlier this week it was revealed that Paris was able to see her five children for the first time in a week as she stayed in hospital with her newborn daughter.

Paris is also mum to Venezuela, 11, Prince John James, eight, Prince Tyson II, four, alencia Amber, three and Prince Adonis Amaziah, one.

Tyson and Paris – who are childhood sweethearts and tied the knot in 2009 – shared the happy news that Athena had arrived on 8 August 2021.

The WBC champion told his 4.4m followers: “Please can everyone pray for my baby girl who was born this morning.

“Athena Fury born 8/8/21.”

A day later it was revealed that she was intensive care and asked his followers to continue to pray for his daughter.

He said: “Massive thanks for all the messages and support.

“The baby is in a stable position and doing well – hopefully she comes out of ICU today.

“Please keep baby Athena in your prayers. Paris is doing great. God bless.”

Since her arrival, dad Tyson has managed to raise over £30,000 for a UK children’s charity following the birth of his sixth child.

The devastated dad set up a GoFundMe page in her name to raise money for the Alder Hey Family House Trust in Liverpool.

So far, The Gypsy King has managed to raise £48,006.
