Wellerman hitmaker Nathan Evans dedicated his new book to wife Holly while admitting he was unemployed just a year ago.
Former postman Nathan rose to fame in 2020 after his TikTok sea shanties went viral.
He has since enjoyed a whirlwind year. As well as being signed up by record label Polydor, the Airdrie lad has toured around the UK and Europe, played TRNSMT and appeared on US TV.
His latest creation is a book of sea shanties set to be published by Welbeck on 14 October.
It features more than 35 of Nathan’s favourite shanties and the stories behind them as well as some brand new ones.
Nathan is chuffed with the book and its original drawings inside, and pointed to a special dedication to his wife which says simply ‘To My wife Holly’
Showing off the tribute Nathan told his fans: “This is what you get brownie points for lads. Take note, Brownie points.”
He added: “Its so cool. There’s a picture of me and everything in here.”
Nathan added: “Crazy to think that this exact time last year, I was unemployed, and Holly was providing everything, and then one little TikTok at 60 seconds long changed our life forever!
“Basically what i’m saying is .. I LOVE YOU ALL and thank you all so much!! (I’m probably going to end every post like this for the foreseeable future cause I still can’t believe it..)”
