BRIAN Laundrie has made headlines the past few weeks after his fiancée, Gabby Petito, went missing.
On September 21, 2021, the Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue confirmed that Petitio died as a result of a homicide but the cause is still pending final autopsy results.
Who are Brian Laundrie’s parents?
Laundrie’s father Christopher ‘Chris’ Laundrie, 62, and mother Roberta Laundrie, 55, are residents of Wabasso Avenue in North Port, Florida.
According to their tax documents, they own a 10,000-sq.ft property in the area.
On Friday, September 17 the North Port police went to Laundrie’s parents’ house to speak with his family.
According to Brian Laundrie’s attorney, the police went to the Florida home to remove items to aid in the search for him.
FBI announced two search warrants before declaring the Florida home as a crime scene.
On Monday, September 20, officers were seen at the Laundrie’s family home while the parents were placed in a van on their lawn.
As of 10:30am, the parents were allowed back inside of the home, according to a WABC Channel 7 reporter.

An FBI agent was seen entering the home with a bag and an envelope. It is unclear why they are at the scene. They were later seen bringing folding chairs and a table inside.
Later that day, FBI officers were seen using a tow truck to remove a silver Mustang from the property.
Did their son kill Gabby?
While no one has been arrested yet in connection with Petito’s murder, Brian was named a person of interest as FBI continue to investigate.
At this time, it is unknown if Brian played a role in her death.
Special Agent Michael Schneider of the Denver FBI unit issued a statement asking for anyone with information on where Laundrie is to contact them immediately.
“The FBI’s commitment to justice is the forefron of each and every investigation,” Schneider said. “The FBI and our partners remain dedicated to ensuring anyone responsible for or complicit in Mr. Petito’s death is held accountable for their actions.”
“Mr. Brian Laundrie has been named a person of interest. Anyone with information concerning Mr. Laundrie’s role in this matter or his current whereabout should contact the FBI.”
As the search for him continues, many believe he is on the run and even escaped the US on a jet while authorities searched his home.
What have Brian’s parents said about Gabby Petito’s disappearance?
While the parents have not issued a statement regarding her death, the family issued a statement through their lawyer after remains seemingly pertaining to Gabby were found in Wyoming.
The statement read: “The news about Gabby Petito is heartbreaking. The Laundrie family prays for Gabby and her family.”
Similarly, on September 14, 2021, the Laundries had previously said: “This is an extremely difficult time for both the Petito family and the Laundrie family.
“I understand that a search has been organized for Miss Petito in or near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.
“On behalf of the Laundrie family it is our hope that the search for Miss Petito is successful and that Miss Petito is re-united with her family.
“On the advice of counsel the Laundrie family is remaining in the background at this juncture and will have no further comment.”
Petito was reported missing on September 11, 2021, and officials are investigating the case.
Laundrie has since been named a “person of interest” as he continued to avoid FBI interviews.
Do the pair have any other children?
Laundrie’s sister, Cassie, spoke with Good Morning America on Friday, September 17, discussing her brother and Petito.
She revealed she had not spoken to her brother since he returned from his trip.
It’s not immediately clear if the couple have more children.
While not much is known about Laundrie, he is known for being just as adventurous as his partner.
According to his Instagram bio, he is a “nature enthusiast,” and his most recent pictures are from his cross-country travels.
His Instagram account also indicates that he is an artist as he has multiple pictures posted related to printmaking art.
