Mexican exotic dancer and actress Lyn May, whose real name is Lilia Mendiola de Chi, is expecting a child with Markos D1 at the age of 68. She announced the news on her personal Instagram today (August 8), introducing her child’s father to her fans. 

Lyn May was previously married to Antonio Chi-Xuo from 1989 to 2008. Soon after that relationship ended, she married Guillermo Calderon Stell and they were together for four years.

Lyn May made her announcement further special by sharing a series of adorable pictures with Markos. She wrote in the caption: “I am very happy to announce that I am 3 months pregnant and @markosd1official is very happy that he will be a dad.”

Born in 1991, Markos is a recording artist based in Los Angeles. “‘D1’ moniker is a shortening of the phrase ‘The One’, a nickname which represents Markos’ unique brand of Latin pop music and his acute business savvy as a fashion model and successful beauty industry entrepreneur,” his official website states. 

Even though he was born and raised in California, his parents are originally from Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Besides making music, Lyn’s partner also owns the Markos D1 hair salon chain in California. “Markos D1 salons also carry a full line of Markos D1 branded cosmetics; a custom brand of make-up products customers love and ask for by name,” his website claims.

He’s currently working on his next album, which is said to feature English and Spanish songs. Meanwhile, he has over 66,000 followers on Instagram and describes himself as “POP STAR, CEO, VIRGO and DESIGNER” in the bio. 

His account showcases many pictures with Lyn from various Red carpet events.

What we know about Lyn May and Markos D1’s relationship 

Lyn and Markos have been together for a while now. As per The News Glory, the Mexican actress made her relationship with the artist public in October 2019. They were later featured in a video titled Drunk, narrated by Markos himself as he takes us through his relationship with Lyn. 

If reports were to be believed, Lyn told in interviews following the video that she and Markos were “engaged” and the wedding scene in the video was specifically used to make the announcement about the next big step in their relationship. 

However, there are no reports available about their wedding. Perhaps, it will be revealed by the actress in another surprise post. We’ll have to wait and watch!

Although Lyn’s fans are thrilled to learn about her pregnancy, many seem surprised by the news owing to her age. Soon, Twitter flooded with posts about the actress having a baby at 68. 

One fan wrote in Spanish: “If Lyn May could get pregnant at 68, of course I will be able to find the love of my life in this world,” while another said: “Better Lyn May got pregnant at 200 years, to which I will find a stable relationship.”
