Woman crushed after realising husband taped over wedding video with police show

A video of a dad with his head in his hands has gone viral on TikTok with millions of views, as it was revealed that he taped over his wedding video with a police TV show

Your wedding day is said to be one of the happiest days of your life.

So of course, you’ll want pictures and videos to remember the special moments forever.

But unfortunately for one woman, when she dug out her wedding tape on her 30th anniversary, she discovered it had been recorded over, leaving her devastated.

Footage of the awkward moment the wife found out was shared on TikTok by user @romijessmaya, where it has since gone viral.

She wrote: “It’s my parent’s 30th wedding anniversary and my mom wanted to watch the tape but my dad taped COPS over it.”

The clip shows the bride and groom walking arm and arm before it cuts to a scene from a police TV show.

The dad can then be seen looking very sheepish with his head in his hands.

The original poster seemed to find the blunder quite funny too as they included a laughing emoji in their caption, but the mum was quite “upset.”

Since being posted, the video has racked up more than 2.7 million likes and almost 11,000 comments.

One person said: “This is the most dad thing I’ve ever witnessed.”

Another wrote: “That was definitely on purpose.”

A third commented: “Imagine how nervous he got when your mum said she wanted to watch their wedding video knowing that he taped cops over it.”

“This is so hilarious but is your mum okay? That would hurt me in the moment,” asked someone else to which she replied saying: “Wife here – I was upset but got over it.”

Others shared blunders of their own, as one person revealed: “My dad taped over my birth video with ‘when animals attack,'” and another said: “The last 30 minutes of my parents wedding video is of the Power Rangers…”
