Woman driving golf cart caught on camera stealing package delivery

Are you wondering where your packages could be if they were supposed to be delivered?

Well, they might disappear on a golf cart, as is the case of one man’s goods.

On Monday, a woman was caught red-handed on camera taking packages from a man’s home early in the morning while driving on a golf cart in Houston, Texas.

A reported by KPRC-TV, an NBC News affiliate, Conrad Mueller, the man whose packages were stolen, believes that the package pirate lives in the very same neighborhood as him because she couldn’t have travelled too far on a golf cart.

“I don’t know how she got there. She should have probably gone in through the driveway, Mueller told the outlet.

He also noted that two packages, which weren’t of major value, were delivered to his home on Sunday but forgot to take them inside until Monday morning.

Once he noticed that the packages were no longer present, he checked his porch security cameras to get to the bottom of the situation.

“Nothing valuable; it’s snorkelling for swimming and a swimming cap. It was my swimming day today,” Mueller continued while chuckling as he planned to use the gear on Monday.

The video appeared to show an older woman wearing a loose dress with a cap on, drive and park a golf cart right on his lawn, walk up to the door, swipe the packages, and zoom down the street.

Mueller said the items are en route to being replaced, but he has more concerns about what motivated the woman to steal in the first place.

“Maybe, I don’t know, she didn’t know what she was doing, I guess,” he said.

Meuller further told the outlet that he will hopefully go swimming this week and will continue to keep a close look on his next delivery.

The Houston Police Department is also investigating the felony theft.
