A woman took to TikTok to complain about a pair of cycling shorts she ordered from PrettyLittleThing which she said looked nothing like they did on the model on the website
A woman was left mortified after a pair of PrettyLittleThing shorts left her ‘looking like Simon Cowell.’
The woman ordered the Plus Black Logo Cycling Shorts, which retails for £12 on the website.
But when they arrived, they didn’t look quite as she’d hoped…
Disappointed, she put out a “customer announcement to PrettyLittleThing or Molly-Mae” – the brands new creative director – on TikTok, where she’s known as @povheath.
In the try-on clip, which has since gone viral, she compared the high waisted bottoms to those of Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell, as she captioned the video: “I do love you Molly but I’ve just been catfished.”
She said: “This is a customer announcement for either Pretty Little Thing or Molly-Mae.
“I purchased these shorts, now this woman looks absolutely banging.
“Look at them on me.
“Now I’m sorry, but I look like Simon Cowell.”
The woman shows off the huge shorts, as she is able to pull them up all the way to her chest.
She adds: “For extra clarification I’m 5’9 yes I do have a different body to the model but unless she is 7” there’s no need for them to be that long.”
Since being posted, the video has racked up more than 657,000 views and 46,000 likes.
Viewers were in bits over the outfit blunder and were quick to comment on it.
One person said: “This is my new favourite video,” alongside laughing emojis, while another wrote: “Ok Simon calm down.”
A third commented: “They took high waisted to a whole new level.”
Someone else put: “Something has gone somewhere!”
The Mirror has contacted Pretty Little Thing for a comment.
This isn’t the first time Pretty Little Thing has been called out for its bizarre outfits.
Previously, fans were left baffled over the peculiar design of its Shape Black Slinky One Shoulder Cut Out Unitard.
The one-piece bodysuit features a short-style leg on one side, while on the other side, it has a high bikini cut out.
The asymmetrical design is being savagely ridiculed on Twitter by users who are calling it ‘half’ done.
