A WOMAN has praised the delivery driver who “saved her life” after warning her about her door number.
Jessica Huseman took to TikTok where she shared footage taken on her Vivintdoorbell of the delivery woman dropping off a package.
In the video, the driver can be heard saying: “Hello Jennifer (the former homeowner), I hope your Monday’s going well.
“You have no markers on your house that says what number you are and that is hard to find my house my dude and it’s unsafe, honestly.
“What if you need medical assistance but the paramedics didn’t know your town well – come on.
“Have a great day.”
The video has since gone viral, amassing more than 2.2 million views, and thousands of comments as many urged Jessica to put a number on her door.
Commenting on the post, one wrote: “Retired paramedic. She is 100% correct.
“Protect yourself and get some large numbers on your house and mailbox if it’s out front. Spray paint the curb too.”
Another agreed, adding: “Some wise words from a wise lady.”
“That is a person who cares about people. We need more of her,” said a third.
And it seems that Jessica took on the advice, posting a second video with an update.
She said: “I did go today and get mailbox stickers and house numbers and the next step will be to paint the house numbers on our driveway.”
