Whoever said that dating would be easy? Especially when we’re talking about the online dating game.
In recent years, dating apps like Bumble and Hinge have been on the rise.
But Tinder, which started back in 2012, is the world’s most popular app for dating.
It’s been downloaded more than 340 million times and is available in 190 countries and more than 40 languages.
It’s simple enough to use really swipe left if you don’t like someone, and right if you do.
But with plenty of fish in the sea to choose from, standing out has never been more difficult.
In a bid to attract attention on the popular dating app, a woman cracked a joke in her bio.
Angel, 22, strayed away from boring cliches like “carpe diem”, “you only live once” and “I love to have fun”.
Instead, she captioned her profile: “I’m not the type of girl you have to hold in farts for, but rather the type of girl you want to hold in farts for”.
It seems to have done the trick, attracting attention but for all the wrong reasons.
One user print screened the profile and uploaded in onto Reddit – where it divided opinion.
While some saw the funny side of the profile, others didn’t.
One user wrote: “She deserves to be held under a fart filled blanket.”
Another said: “Attractive girl + talking about farts = passion killed.”
Whilst others applauded her confidence, admitting they’d “swipe right”.
So would you swipe left or right? Let us know in the comments below.
