TikTok user \u2018megward3<\/a>\u2019 has encouraged us to remember to routinely clean out your kids\u2019 bath toys and it\u2019s safe to say we will be taking her advice.<\/p>\n

Meg Ward shared the video to her TikTok, showing Meg\u2019s sons\u2019 favourite bath toy being squeezed in water, showing gunk and mould oozing out.<\/p>\n

Yes, you read that correctly, MOULD.<\/p>\n

The video has racked up a whopping 2.2m views, leaving many shocked that they used to happily squeeze water from these toys into their mouths.<\/p>\n

Clearly many have been left disgusted by this video as it now has 64k likes and 808 comments.<\/p>\n

Meg said: \u201cOmg I felt so bad for not knowing this.<\/p>\n

“Before I get mom shamed I\u2019ll be honest about not knowing to do this.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m not perfect BUT he hadn\u2019t used this in a long time just been sitting in his bucket<\/p>\n

Being a parent doesn\u2019t come with a manual so don\u2019t feel bad for not knowing it all!<\/p>\n

“That was my son\u2019s favourite, luckily he moved on to colouring.<\/p>\n

“My point was really to let parents know this is a thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meg urges parents to throw away bath toys if they get this bad.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cUpdate: throw them away when this bad unless you have the time and need to save the toy.<\/p>\n

Then just remember the next ones you buy to clean often or hot glue the opening!\u201d<\/p>\n
