As Duggar fans know, Josh was arrested for the possession of child sexual abuse material (child pornography). Right now, he is awaiting his trial, which is on November 30.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, Josh\u2019s attorneys are building their defense, which has led to new information about the case surfacing. In November 2019, news broke that Jim Bob and Michelle\u2019s home was being raided. They specifically state that they didn\u2019t know that any member of their family was under investigation. At the same time, Josh was under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>In a blog post on November 20, 2019, Jim Bob and Michelle wrote:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWe were shocked to see a news report today state that our home was raided by federal law enforcement agencies. This is not true. To the best of our knowledge, it\u2019s also not true that any member of our family is the target of any investigation of any kind. Living a life in the public\u2019s eye has taught us that it is best not to reply to every rumor and piece of \u2018fake news\u2019 that is circulated online. It would be a full-time job if we attempted to do so. However, because of tonight\u2019s media coverage we thought it is important to address this rumor with you. Thank you for the love and support that we can always count on in you our fans and friends.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>On <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CS77RtYsw6y\/?utm_medium=copy_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Instagram<\/a>, Katie Joy of\u00a0<em>Without a Crystal Ball\u00a0<\/em>shared the post with her followers. Critics are discussing the lie that Jim Bob and Michelle may have told. One user writes, \u201cThey seem to have selective memories. They knew darn well what was going on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Others say, \u201cIt\u2019s a flat out lie.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One user argues the raid wasn\u2019t at the Duggar family\u2019s home.
