School officials at Cleveland High School say students are actually bringing tools to school to pull this off, but now they want parents to let their students know &#8212; this can cost them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row story-body\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 text-center\">\n<div id=\"carousel-demo\" class=\"carousel slide\">\n<div class=\"carousel-inner\" role=\"listbox\">\n<div class=\"item show-caption active\">\n<div class=\"slide-block\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kob.com\/kobtvimages\/repository\/2021-09\/Viral_TikTok_challenge_leads_to_destruction_of_Rio_Rancho_school_property-syndImport-061549.jpg\" alt=\"Viral TikTok challenge leads to destruction of Rio Rancho school property\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row story-body hbi-story-body\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cDevious licks refers to a trend tictokers steal school equipment and flaunt it like trophies for all of TikTok to see.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Principal of Cleveland High School, Scott Affentranger, said they caught a student in the act last week.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cIt&#8217;s mostly restrooms and its the tearing down of the soap dispensers, the paper towel dispensers, removing\u00a0the doors from the stalls, messing with the faucet. If there&#8217;s a screw, taking the faucet out,\u201d he said. \u201cEven small soap dispensers are expensive now. I mean, nothing is cheap. So we&#8217;ve had a number of those things happening and labor costs I&#8217;m sure we are well over a thousand dollars, if not more.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"AdThrive_Content_2_desktop\" class=\"adthrive-ad adthrive-content adthrive-content-1 adthrive-ad-cls\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/18190176,6585\/AdThrive_Content_2\/5f6a7a8892608a0e85035663_0__container__\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Affentragner said they are monitoring social media to try to identify those students.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Meanwhile, TikTok has disabled the search of this content, saying it violates their guidelines. But search or not, those videos are still going up.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThe vast majority of our students are amazing. They&#8217;re wonderful students, they take care of the campus, they take care of our community.
