Sadly, they were dealt a devastating blow when Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) was killed in a hit and run. Chloe’s overwhelming grief lead to shocking behavior. She kidnapped Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) who received Delia’s corneas. Also, she tried to kill Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) because he was the hit-and-run driver. Lastly, she became obsessed with conceiving another child with Billy. Chloe’s efforts were in vain or so it seems. The ongoing question on The Young And The Restless is who is Bella’s father, we all know DNA tests are switched all the time on soaps.
Bella Could Be Billy’s Daughter on Y&R Here’s Why
Chloe was fixated on creating”another Delia” on The Young And The Restless. She even went as far as drugging and seducing Billy. Her loved ones became so concerned that they staged an intervention. As a result, Chloe agreed to get treatment in a California mental facility. She slept with Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) before she left. However, she also left town with a vile of Billy’s sperm. When Chloe eventually returned with baby Bella Fisher (Martie Blair) in tow. That begged the question of who is Bella’s dad.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) made Chloe submit to a paternity test. When the results showed Kevin was not the father, Y&R fans guessed Billy was the dad. However seasoned soap fans know you just can not trust paternity test results. Unfortunately, Chloe fled town again when it was revealed she tried to blow Adam to smithereens. While on the run she sent letters to both Billy and Kevin indicating either one could be Bella’s biological father. Hence another paternity test was performed. This time Kevin was proven to be the dad. Although many Young And The Restless fans were thrilled the test showed Kevin as the father, can the results be trusted?
How Would A Change In Bella’s Paternity impact Her Parents On Young And The Restless?
Chloe will love her daughter no matter who her father is. As for Kevin, it may sting if he isn’t Bella’s dad. But Kevin loved her before he learned he was her father. It is doubtful his love would change after all these years. As for Billy, he may be surprised if it turns out he is the real father. But it is more likely he would grow to love Bella. The fact that she would be Delia’s full sister might just be the icing on the cake.
At the moment there is no reason to doubt Bella’s DNA. However, this is a soap. It is a staple for paternity surprises to come out. Especially if a child becomes ill. Young And The Restless viewers may recall Billy donated bone marrow to Delia. History does repeat itself on daytime dramas. Or maybe a hidden letter or clue will pop up to put Bella’s paternity is in question. The ongoing query of Bella’s paternity could finally be put to rest on Y&R. Viewers don’t see much of Kevin these days because the actor has hopped over to Days Of Our Lives for a short stint. But Chloe is on the canvas as well as Billy Abbott with upcoming relationship trouble. Who knows if or when writers will use this paternity storyline yet again for some much-needed soapy drama on the CBS soap.
