Amazing training tool to teach kids to tie their shoelaces in minutes

Not only is it incredibly fiddly but the process is also pretty time-consuming too.

That said, one mum is singing the praises of a £5 Smyths book which taught her daughter how to tie her laces in mere minutes.

Posting on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, the parent explained how the easy-to-follow guide helped her daughter wrap her head around the process.

Alongside this, the purse-friendly book also comes up a cardboard shoe and pair of laces for kids to practise on too.

The mum gushed: “Bought this for £5 at Smyth’s for my daughter who’s struggled so much do tie her laces.

“Within 30mins of using it she has now cracked it am over the moon.

“And it’s a bargain for a fiver and shes loved playing with it even after she’s managed it.”

What’s more, the book goes through several different methods of tying your shoes – including a bunny ear bow and double knot – and breaks them down into super simple steps.

And if the cardboard shoe wasn’t enough, there’s also space for kids to practise the bows within the book right next to the instructions.
