Boursin launches foodie staycation house with gin palace and stocked cheese fridge

Cheese? Yes please.

Answering our demands for the lactose ball of goodness is legendary French cheese brand Boursin with their launch of their gourmet getaway that truly money can’t buy.

Bed & Boursin is the cheese company’s new exclusive staycation in Suffolk that can be only attended by winning a luxurious competition.

The stunning location features an outdoor pool and more importantly a gin palace which instantly transports you from the countryside to the Mediterranean.

With holidaying abroad proving difficult for many this year, whisking your family away on a staycation has proved popular amongst Brits to attempt to recreate that vacation feeling.

Bed & Boursin boasts a luxury staycation

The exclusive getaway launched after a study conducted by the brand found that over two fifths of those who have holidayed in the UK have tried to produce French cheese boards and Mediterranean feasts with family and friends.

With us Brits being a nation of foodies, over six in 10 use their staycation as an excuse to take a break from their healthy diets and let go.

The sun has made a very late appearance this year with most of us itching to get the holiday vibes in before dark winter nights commence.

It’s always happy hour

Prepare to get feasting!

Half of those surveyed out of the 2,000 agreed that food is one of the most important aspects of any holiday and a quarter (23%) stating they’re likely to spend more money on food and drink on a UK holiday.

Launching today, the nationwide competition to win a stay at the Bed & Boursin will invite entrants to share a creative dish with a Boursin twist to their Instagram, tagging @BoursinUK and using the hashtag #BedandBoursin, for their chance to win.

The winners will be selected by the Bed & Boursin private chef, Vernon Blackmore.

Chef Vernon Blackmore working his culinary magic

Five lucky winners will receive a two night stay Bed & Boursin for themselves and seven guests. This includes a culinary masterclass and tasting menu with wine, hosted by chef Vernon Blackmore and a departure gift of one month of Boursin product to the winner, bathroom robes, and an eye mask.

The competition closes on the 17th September so you better get to the kitchen and whip up a cheese inspired meal that will impress the top chef.

Who needs the south of France when you have a whole fridge full of cheese in Suffolk.
