Final “Hotel Transylvania” Moving To Amazon

Sony Pictures Animation is handing over “Hotel Transylvania: Transformania” to the streaming arena.

The fourth and final feature in the animated family feature franchise will bypass a theatrical run and is now looking to stream on Amazon Prime.

The deal is reportedly still in the early stages, so no release date planned yet, but it could ultimately be valued at $100 million. The movie was originally set to hit cinemas in October.

Genndy Tartakovsky, who directed the three prior films and co-wrote the third, is returning as the screenwriter on this fourth installment with Jennifer Kluska and Derek Drymon taking over as helmers.

Brian Hull will replace Adam Sandler in the role of Dracula. Additional voice cast includes Andy Samberg as Johnny Loughran, Selena Gomez as Mavis, Kathryn Hahn as Ericka Van Helsing, Steve Buscemi as Wayne, David Spade as Griffin, Keegan-Michael Key as Murray, Asher Blinkoff, Brad Abrell, Fran Drescher as Eunice, Jim Gaffigan as Professor Abraham Van Helsing, and Molly Shannon.
