The Loud House movie recently arrived on Netflix and the reviews by fans of the show were overwhelmingly positive. Of course, the movie being on the streaming service also begged a question. Can you watch the series on the platform as well?
Before you can go looking for the show, you might want to know exactly what it is. The series that first aired on Nickelodeon is about Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa, Lily, and… Lincoln Loud.
As the only brother in the house with five older sisters, five younger sisters and one bathroom, life in the Loud house can get pretty crazy. From unwanted makeovers to exploding science experiments to getting the perfect seat for the family road trip, there’s no problem too large–or bedroom too small– for Lincoln! And despite all of the headaches, he wouldn’t have it any other way.
The series does indeed mostly center on Lincoln and how is able to survive as the only son in a rather rambunctious family.
So far the series has been delighting fans for five seasons and the Netflix movie was the cherry on top of the sundae. However, there is a bit of a drawback for those who were hoping to be able to move right from the movie, to the series. In order to see any of the television show, fans are going to have to look outside Netflix.
It turns out that while Netflix was able to secure the rights to The Loud House movie, it doesn’t have the ability to stream the series.
Currently, fans of the show can stream the first four seasons. Though they are going to need to sign up for a Paramount + account.
Season 5 is still going on and can only be watched on Nickelodeon. When the current season does finish airing, it’s likely going to be ported over to Paramount + as well.
As of now, there isn’t any kind of announcement as to if and when the series might eventually jump over to Netflix.
For those who don’t want to subscribe to a whole other subscription service, there is a way to watch The Loud House, though you’ll have to pay a bit extra.
iTunes users can purchase any or all of the seasons through the service. That includes the ability to buy the current season and watch the new episodes the day after they air.

Of course, this is less than ideal for those who aren’t wanting to spend $20 a pop per season and don’t have any use for owning the show after they’ve watched through a run. At the moment, Paramount + is the best way to watch the television series.
