Owners in stitches as pup starts doggy paddling the air while being carried over river

An adorable dog gave his owners a good laugh when he began to doggy paddle the air when being carried across the river.

Adam Matthews, 35, from Newark, Nottinghamshire, was enjoying a scenic walk in the Peak District with his girlfriend Kate Wilkinson and their dog Buster.

They were walking in Dovedale when they had to take a break to laugh at little Buster doggy paddling the air as Adam carried over stepping stones along a fast-flowing river.

Their video captures Buster’s legs in motion as he ‘paddles’ to safety, as well as Adam and Kate laughing at his adorable antics.
