Rangers midfielder John Lundstram insists there is a “lot more to come” from Steven Gerrard’s side after yesterday’s disappointing defeat by Dundee United and promised fans will see a “different team” once the Gers hit their stride.
Lundstram has struggled to adapt to life in the Scottish Premiership so far, being badly caught out in two of his three competitive appearances for Rangers at the cost of a goal each time.
The former Sheffield United star admits pre-season “hasn’t been a great one” for Rangers as he confirmed a “few Covid cases” in the Gers’ squad in the lead up to the new campaign.
“I think there’s a lot more to come from all of us,” he told Sky Sports.

“It’s only early doors, we had pre-season not long ago and it hasn’t been a great one for everyone.

With a massive game against Malmo on Tuesday, Rangers don’t have time to spend getting ‘up to speed’ if the Light Blues want to reach the Champions League.
Gerrard’s side have three competitive fixtures and five friendlies under their belts since returning from pre-season and there can be no excuses for such poor performances.
While Lundstram may have been used to mediocrity at Sheffield United, at clubs like Rangers losing three games on the bounce is a massive problem, early in the season or not.
