San Antonio Weather Update: How Long Will The Storms Last?

San Antonio is expected to experience thunderstorms next week. Since the summer season is already gone, chances of storms in the area are likely.

According to the National Weather Service, there will be a possibility of scattered and isolated storms in the Austin-San Antonio areas for next week. The showers and thunderstorms will start to increase by Sunday.

Up to three inches of rain is expected in areas where isolated storms will be experienced. The areas that need to be mindful of the weather are the Northern, Northeast, and Northwest counties, as there is a possibility of heavier activity forecast in these places.

The scattered thunderstorms risk is expected to continue on Monday through Tuesday. It will hopefully be an isolated risk by Wednesday. On Wednesday, there will be limited rain chances along and east of the I-35/I-37 corridor and only a few storms along Highway 77 by Thursday.

South Texas could see the sun by Thursday. Expect the temperatures to rise by then.
