Terry Crews is the latest celebrity to talk about their showering habits. The Brooklyn Nine-Nine told Access Hollywood that he truly believes “If you ain’t been sweating you don’t need to shower.” Crews also made sure to clear up he ain’t one of those people who aren’t sweating. “I spend all day sweating, running, and working out and it ain’t nice.” Who, like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has a very built physique. Johnson himself also recently shared that he has to shower several times a day.
The Jungle Cruise star almost broke the internet when he hilariously tweeted out “I’m the opposite of a ‘not washing themselves’ celeb. The budding comedian then went on to lay out his daily shower routine which included three showers one of which is “cold “ to get his “day rollin”. Crews also shared a similar shower schedule during his interview with Access Hollywood. “I took three today, three, today. Me and Dwayne are right,” he enthused. “I took one in the morning, after the workout, then I took one before I got here, then I took one in between acts.’

Crews shared that hopping in the shower is the best part of his day. “I love to shower because I spend so much time sweating.” He also noted that some of his endorsement deals rely on him being a hygienic person. “I’m Mr. Old Spice, so I gotta get clean!”. In case you have been avoiding trending news lately, a surprising number of celebrities have been admitting that showering themselves and their children or potential offspring is not a high priority. Monica Padman and Dax Shepard started the conversation on their Armchair Expert podcast, where he admitted that he and wife Kristen Bell do not prioritize bathing themselves or their children. They agree with guest Ashton Kutcher that “if dirt is visible, then it’s time to take a bath.”
Gyllenhaal claims that he finds it less important daily to keep up a showering routine. “More and more I find bathing to be less necessary, at times.” The actor chalked his opinion up to the fact that we have natural oils in our skin. “I do also think that there’s a whole world of not bathing that is also really helpful for skin maintenance, and we naturally clean ourselves.” But don’t worry he still brushes his teeth often enough. Crews, unfortunately, was roasted on Twitter for dubbing himself “Mr. Old Spice” but at least he’s showering regularly.
