UFO report reveals when and where you are most likely to see unidentified flying objects

A new report from the National UFO Reporting Centre (NUFORC) has revealed where the best places are to spot alien activity in the US.

UFOs have long been a cause for interest and a recent resurgence in sightings has led to many heading out to spot the mysterious objects.

The rise in interest could be due to the Pentagon’s long anticipated UFO report back in June which shared a classified brief on the existence of alien life.

The NUFORC’s new study compiled statistics from sightings of UFOs and suspected alien activity alien activity to determine where to go to catch a glimpse of the floating objects.

The study showed that the best place to go is the West Coast of the United States in the springtime (so you will have to plan the trip for next year) and California seems to be a particular favourite haunt of alien life-forms having recorded a whopping 619 reported sightings.

The data used in NUFORC’s report is from 2020 and so some level of annual variance may affect the final results of the study.

Florida, Washington, Pennsylvania and Texas follow behind California by quite a stretch and make up the top 5 places to go to spot UFOs in the US.

However, Washington D.C. and Missouri are the places for UFO seekers to avoid as they each only had one alien sighting last year.

Now that the place to go has been revealed it’s also important to make sure you are there at the right time of year to see the extraterrestrial visitors.

The report showed that December is the worst month to head out for a sighting as only 370 reports of sightings in the whole month.

It comes as no surprise, though, that the best time of day for sightings is under the cover of darkness – between 8pm and 12am

The best bet is to search for UFOs in springtime, last year April and March combined saw 1,873 sightings of alien activity recorded.

It comes as no surprise, though, that the best time of day for sightings is under the cover of darkness – between 8pm and 12am.

NUFORC has revealed then that any UFO-seekers should get their trips booked and head to California next Spring and look up to the sky between 8pm and 12am for an increased chance to spot the infamous UFOs.
