Counting On fans have lots of questions about Anna Duggar’s pregnancy. The Duggar daughter-in-law is currently expecting her seventh baby with her husband, Josh. But this pregnancy looks much different than her previous pregnancies.
As you may know, Josh was arrested for the possession of child sexual abuse material. His arrest came just days after Josh and Anna announced that they are expecting another baby.
The father of seven is now awaiting trial, which is set for November 30. In the meantime, he’s staying with his guardians, the Rebers. He’s not allowed to see minors, except for his own children with his wife’s supervision.
Naturally, Josh’s arrest has caused some tension in the Duggar family. Sources say that Anna is not on good terms with Josh’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. It sounds like there has been even more division within the family, causing some members to cut off communication with each other.
Now, fans have questions about Anna’s pregnancy.
Due to the timing of Josh and Anna’s pregnancy announcement and his arrest, we haven’t heard much from Anna at all. After Josh’s arrest, most of the Duggar family went silent on social media. She hasn’t posted on her Instagram page or stories since April 24.
In the pregnancy announcement, Anna revealed that she’s expecting a baby girl this fall. However, she didn’t share the specific due date or even tell fans her due month. So, Anna will give birth sometime in the next couple of months.
Duggar fans wonder if they will even get to “meet” the baby via social media when she arrives. Of course, this is bigger news, so maybe Anna will return to social media to share that news. But it’s safe to assume that Anna will receive mixed reactions from fans if she does post anything. Many fans are urging her to leave Josh and protect her children.
From what’s been said about Anna’s relationship with her in-laws right now, it doesn’t sound like they are on great terms. They may be able to put their differences aside for the new baby, but Josh’s arrest seems to be affecting the family in a big way.
A lot of this may depend on the timing of the birth of the trial. Depending on how the trial goes, maybe the broken relationships in the family will be restored. Josh’s trial comes at the very end of November, though, so the baby will likely be born before his fate is determined.
