WWE ‘Removing’ Major SummerSlam Title Match?

2021’s edition of WWE SummerSlam is set to be one of the biggest and most stacked cards that the company has put on all year. However, one major matchup is potentially in danger of not taking place. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, it is being reported that there are internal concerns within WWE that the highly hyped matchup between Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair might not happen at this year’s ‘Biggest Party of the Summer due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’. WWE ‘banned’ this surprising name from SummerSlam

According to the outlet: “PWInsider.com has spoken with several sources inside the company who expressed concern their announced match will not take place at SummerSlam this weekend, but there is nothing confirmed in that regard.”

Both Banks and Belair missed the WWE SuperShow live event on this past weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina.
WWE SummerSlam takes place this year on August 21st at Allegiant Stadium in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada. In addition to the scheduled WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship between Banks and Belair the card also boasts huge main event matches including John Cena Vs ‘The Head of the Table’ Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship and Bobby Lashley Vs Goldberg for the WWE Championship.
