You can now stay at the James Bond resort with private beach, butler and cinema room

JAMES Bond fans can now live out their Caribbean dream by staying at the home where the famous spy was created.

Otherwise known as the former home of James Bond author Ian Fleming, GoldenEye is where Fleming famously dreamt up the iconic 007 character.

The Jamaican resort, which is open for bookings through Winged Boots, has a private villa nestled in the trees, perfect for hiding as a secret agent.

As the home to Ian Fleming, who wrote all 14 of the James Bond novels there, it sleeps up to 10 guests across three bedrooms.

This includes a master suite, a queen-sized bedroom, and a bedroom with two twin beds, each with it’s open tropical garden, claw foot bath and garden shower.

Also inside is a freestanding bath with views of the island, as well as a full kitchen and lounge area.

There is a huge media room too with a wet bar, and if you need more space, two other one-bedroom villas on site you can rent, called the Sweet Spot and Pool House.

An on-site butler will also serve you during your stay, including for any martini requests, as well as a housekeeper and cook.

You can also stroll along the private beach, GoldenEye, in Oracabessa Bay, or walk through the private pool and tropical gardens.

There is lots to do on the island if you leave the villa too, such as massages at the nearby spa or try out yoga or watersports.

Prices with Winged Boots start from £3,125 which includes 10 nights and return flights.

The villa is a 10 minute drive from Ian Fleming International Airport, or just under two hour drive from Montego Bay and Kingston.

James Bond fans are eagerly awaiting the new film, which has been delayed due to the pandemic.

However, the original 007 star Sean Connery has been voted the best-ever James Bond — 58 years after his debut.

Jamaica is currently on the UK’s amber list, but vaccinated Brits can return without having to quarantine.
