YOU fans don’t have much longer to wait for season three as it’s release date has been confirmed.
A creepy new trailer dropped today, and while it didn’t show any characters from the show or new footage, it revealed two important things.
The Netflix drama stars Penn Badgley as serial killer Joe Goldberg, who discovered his equally warped girlfriend Love Quinn was pregnant with their baby at the end of season two.
The trailer not only reveals that season three will premiere on October 15, but also the gender and name of the couple’s baby.
The footage sees a man decorating a white cake with blood red letters.
Joe is heard saying: “People these days will name their kids anything to get attention.
“Despite your mother’s background and your Glamma’s determination to refer to you as Forty reincarnated, I know better.”
He continues: “A boy is not what we expected and I would be lying if I said the thought of a mini-me was purely exciting and not without…challenges.
“Let’s just say I’m hoping you’ll do as I say and not as I do. But for you, I can change, I’ll be a man you look up to.
“A man you’ll be proud to call Dad.”
Joe then debates what to call his son, saying: “So, what to call you? A name that’s strong but not intimidating.
“Classic but not basic. Literary, of course, because you’ll grow up in a house full of books.
“Henry, choosing your name is the first of a lifetime of decisions I’ll make to give you the best life possible to protect you, to shape who you will become.
“Who are you going to be, Henry?”
The finished decorated cake reads: “Welcome Baby Henry” before a knife slices into it and the wedge – complete with blood filling – reveals the premiere’s date.
You season three premieres on October 15, while seasons one and two are available on Netflix now.
