A former Leeds United target has just made history – for the right reasons.
Back in the summer of 2019, the Whites were heavily linked with a move for Swiss striker Michael Frey, then at Fenerbahce.

Even after losing a striker in the form of Kemar Roofe, the Elland Road club failed to sign Frey and he wound up joining FC Nurnberg on loan.

But looking back, Victor Orta and Marcelo Bielsa may be pondering that now.
That’s because the hitman has just scored all five goals for Royal Antwerp in a 5-2 win over Standard Liege.
Mistake?
Well you can’t really criticise Leeds for not signing him because up until Sunday, he hadn’t done that much since.
And after all, Bielsa has masterminded promotion to the Premier League and a ninth-placed finish in the top flight since those links to Frey.
The West Yorkshire side haven’t done too badly in spite of the fact they did not sign the Switzerland Under-21 international.
But there’s no denying that scoring five in a single game is quite a feat – Belgian football or not.
