Ben Affleck didn’t just play a superhero in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, he is ready to jump to the rescue in real life too!
While leaving the Venice Film Festival and making their way through the airport, the 49-year-old Academy Award winner was spotted having to block and then physically restrain an overeager Jennifer Lopez fan who was insistent on snapping selfies with the gorgeous Hustlers star.
The Good Will Hunting actor looked calm and cool, but very serious as he stood between the mask-less fan and his girlfriend, at one point putting his hands on the other man’s chest and appearing to carefully push him away from her as they tried to pass.
The fan seemed to continue to charge forward still holding his phone up high with an outstretched arm, ignoring Affleck and the “On The Floor” singer’s clear discomfort with the situation.
The tense moment was able to be controlled once the Gone Girl lead’s bodyguard stepped in and grabbed the man’s wrists, moving him away from the A-List power couple, who walked through the cleared path hand-in-hand as they tried to leave the awkward scene as quickly as possible.
