THERE must be something in the water… but perhaps some of these celebrities wouldn’t know, given how little they seem to come into contact with it.
Recently Juice singer Lizzo, 33, became the latest in a long line of celebs to admit she refuses to wear deodorant – and smells “better” as a result.

However her revelation is far from the most extreme confession, and it seems steering clear of the shower is all the rage in tinsel town, if these other stars’ admissions are anything to go by…
Ditching deodorant
Dallas Buyers Club actor Matthew McConaughey, 51, was one of the original stars to confess to ditching deodorant – and many celebs have followed in his footsteps.
Speaking in 2005 when asked what a man should smell like, Matthew, 51, replied: “A man. I haven’t worn deodorant in 20 years.”
Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts, and Bradley Cooper are all known for not putting on deodorant too.
Actress Julia told Oprah in 2008: “I don’t actually use deodorant… it’s just never been my thing” while Cameron hasn’t used it for over 20 years, saying: “It’s really bad for you.”
Back when she was breastfeeding, Kourtney Kardashian famously refused to wear deodorant so she could keep her breast milk free of toxins – with Scott Disick declaring at the time she “reeks”.
‘I’ve peed in some sinks’
Jennifer Lawrence once revealed she isn’t too fussy about where she goes to the toilet.
Speaking to MTV News with Hunger Games co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, she revealed: “I’ve peed in some sinks. When two girls go into a bathroom, someone’s gotta take sink.
“I actually like taking a sink. One could wait, but if the one waiting is me, she’s going to the sink.”
It’s not the only confession she made either, saying: “I don’t wash my hands after I go to the bathroom.”
However she later revealed it was just a joke, saying: “I told MTV I didn’t wash my hands after going to the bathroom because I was trying to gross out Josh and Liam and I ended up grossing out the world.
“Of course I wash my hands after going to the bathroom!”
Not brushing teeth
She has a Hollywood smile, but Jessica Simpson once revealed she doesn’t brush her pearly whites every day – and for a very odd reason.
The singer, now 41, told Ellen she brushes her teeth about three times a week, adding: “Because my teeth are so white and I don’t like them to feel too slippery but I do use Listerine and I do floss everyday.
“It’s really weird but I have great breath.”
Smelling like a ‘shrimp on a diaper’
Singer Kesha once admitted to BBC Radio One that often her odour is far from fresh, saying: “Usually the people around me say, ‘You’re disgusting!’ or, ‘Put your pants on!’ or ‘You’re late!’
“Or they say, ‘You smell weird, what’s that smell?
“One time, someone told me I smelt like a shrimp on a diaper.
“I thought I could make a fragrance that was little like a shrimp on a Faberge diaper but I don’t know if people want to smell like that.”
Hair horror
Twilight star Robert Pattinson once admitted he hadn’t washed his hair in six weeks.
When asked in an interview with Extra if it was true, the actor said: “Probably. I don’t know. I don’t really see the point in washing your hair.
“If you don’t care if your hair’s clean or not then why would you wash it?”
‘I wash my armpits and crotch’
Jake Gyllenhaal once told Vanity Fair: “More and more, I find bathing to be less necessary at times” – and it would seem Hollywood couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis agree.
Discussing personal hygiene on the Armchair Expert podcast, Ashton said: “I wash my armpits and my crotch daily, and nothing else ever. I got a bar of Lever 2000 that delivers every time. Nothing else.”
Mila added: “I don’t wash my body with soap everyday. I wash pits and t**s and slits and holes and soles.”
