Coronation Street spoilers and updates reveal star Ruxandra Porojnicu, who plays Alina Pop, could be done filming her part of the ITV soap as hinted by her latest social media posts. Is Alina leaving the show?
The Romanian actress has posted snaps with her Corrie costars in what fans fear to be her “leaving party.”
Ruxandra posted both on her Twitter and Instagram account saying: “This week has been such a lovely one!!”
“And it’s all thanks to the wonderful people I spent time with. I wish I had a pic with each of you but you know who you are. Thank You!”
Seen in the photos are Alexandra Mardell who plays Alina’s flatmate Emma Brooker, actor Alan Halsall who plays her on-screen partner Tyrone Dobbs, and surprisingly, her on-screen love rival Jennie McAlpine, who plays Tyrone’s ex Fiz Stape at Manchester’s Australasia restaurant and adjoining Sunset bar on Spinningfields.
The actress also shared a different image showing Alexandra, Sair Khan who plays Alya Nazir, and the soap’s anti-hero Charlotte Jordan who plays Daisy Midgely.
Prior to that, she had also shared another night out with the iconic cast members Maureen Lipman, who plays granny Evelyn, Alexandra, and the returning Rula Lenska.
Ruxandra’s posts have fuelled rumors she’s done filming in the soap, especially when she posted an elevator selfie holding a bouquet of flowers with the caption “Monday” when it was still Friday.
Her costars are seen sending her love heart messages showing their support in the comments section and fans can already feel a “leaving do” vibe.
