Dad catches son trying to sneak home late from party – so pranks him with Alexa

A dad hilariously caught out his son trying to sneak home from a party late at night, thanks to his Amazon Alexa.

Mitch, from US, enlisted the help of Amazon’s virtual assistant Alexa to pull a prank on his son and recorded his reaction on a home security camera.

The tech-savvy dad knew his son Jesse was staying late with friends for a party so he pre-recorded some phrases on the voice control device.

Sharing the clip on TikTok, he said: “When you watch your son and his friends sneak out, you kind of have to f*** with them upon their return…Thanks Alexa for the assist!”

Jesse and his friends got busted for sneaking into the home after partying

The security camera shows Jesse and his group climbing into the house through a window in the living room.

As they make their way into the house, Alexa turns on the lights and says: “Hi Jesse, next time just say you want to go out so you don’t need to climb through a window with all your friends.”

“I hope you had fun, were safe, and didn’t c**p your pants when I started talking. I may go viral on TikTok for this, thanks for the content.”

Jesse’s friends are in absolute shock when they realise his dad had been watching them.

“Wait, what?” one asks before Jesse turns around to the camera and gives a middle finger, saying: “F*** you, I love you.

“No, no, no, look at me, I love you. F*** you.”

Others are in hysterics and a friend adds: “That’s the funniest s*** I’ve ever heard. Was that just now or did he record that in advance?”

Knowing his dad’s character, Jesse confidently believes that Mitch recorded the phrases in advance.

Mitch also put out a disclaimer in the comments, saying: “This is our relationship. We all curse in our family. He’s not cursing at me, he’s giving props for busting him creatively.”

A viewer showed his support and praised for Mitch’s parenting.

“This is good parenting. Parents need to understand this is part of growing up,” he wrote.

Another added: “That window is like a clown car! They just keep coming.”
