During the Covid-19, social media has been full of talk about the vaccine.
Whilst some urge the world to get vaccinated, others are against the immunisation, and the internet has been flooded with opinions.
This month, one TikTok user is going viral after he uncovered a huge fake vaccine card scam.
Here’s what happened…
WHO IS TIZZYENT?
Michael, or Tizzyent as he’s known online, is a TikTok user with 2.5 million followers.
He’s an American writer, director, editor and filmmaker who has had over 47 million likes on the app where he regularly posts videos voicing his opinion on real-life topics.
Tizzyent is also big on Instagram, with 112,000 followers.
HE EXPOSED A HUGE VACCINE SCAM
Michael has taken over the internet after he exposed a national vaccination scam.
It all started when he spotted a woman called AntiVaxMomma on Instagram advertising “real Covid vaccination cards” with “real serial numbers” for $200 which could be mailed across America.
She wrote in an Instagram Story that she wanted to “expand her team”, so Michael, who thought the posts seemed very suspicious, posed as a Walgreens employee and sent her a message.
The woman then admitted to him that she was paying someone in New York $10,000 per week to enter unvaccinated individual’s names into the vaccination database and generate a lot number.
These lot numbers would then be put onto the fake vaccination cards, making them seem completely real.
HE NOTIFIED THE FBI AND SHE HAS BEEN CHARGED
Tizzyent then informed the FBI about the fake vaccination card scam, but they actually already knew.
As reported by The Washington Post, the woman has been uncovered as Jasmine Clifford, 31, from Lyndhurst, New Jersey and has been charged with selling hundreds of fake vaccination cards.
Another woman, Nadayza Barkley, 27, has also been charged for entering at least 10 people into the New York State Immunization Information System database.
Thirteen people who bought the fake vaccine cards have been charged too.
