Former Counting On stars Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo use social media often to keep up with their fans. On Instagram, Jinger boasts an impressive 1.4 million followers, and many of them are Duggar fans. Thanks to social media, fans have been able to watch Jinger and Jeremy explore Los Angeles, California, where they relocated to a few years ago.
Fans have also gotten to watch Jinger and Jeremy’s daughters, Felicity, 3, and Evangeline, 9 months, grow up on social media. However, they now avoid showing their daughters’ faces online to give them more privacy.
Many of Jinger and Jeremy’s big announcements, including their daughter’s birth, their book launch, and more, have been posted on their Instagram pages. Now, Jinger is back with some shocking news.
Jinger & Jeremy Vuolo go live and give fans a huge update.
On Tuesday, Jinger and Jeremy went live on Instagram, teasing that it’s “time for an update!” They wrote, “Haven’t been on in a while so we jumped on to catch up, chat about The Hope We Hold (@hopewehold), and answer a few of your questions. Grateful for you all!”
While they were live, Jinger revealed that she was baptized at Grace Community Church, which is the church Jeremy preaches at. Fans know that Jeremy is currently attending the Master’s Seminary and plans to become a pastor in the near future.
This news comes as a surprise because Jinger was raised in the independent fundamental Baptist Church. She was baptized as a child and saved when she was a teenager. However, Grace Community Church is a Calvinist church, which is very different from how Jinger was raised. So, that’s why she was baptized again.
Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball shares more about Jinger’s decision, revealing, “Jinger has made her choice for Calvinism. This was a huge factor in why Jim Bob Duggar did not want Jinger to court Jeremy. She wrote extensively about their theological differences & the struggle her dad had with Jeremy’s faith.”
