KIDS love a treat meal and a trip to McDonald’s and now one mum has shared a quirky hack for how to create a homemade-happy-meal.
The mum has revealed her simple trick to ensure her kids eat their dinner without having to drive to McDonald’s.
On her TikTok account athomewithshannon Shannon Doherty shared her kids meal creation hack with her 1.1 million followers.
In the video she titled “Best MOM HACK for dinner -wait until you see how excited your kids are!” She showed herself packing a yellow meal box similar to a happy meal but with the words “Mommy Meal” on the outside.
“OK so your kids only want happy meals for dinner, right? This is the best hack, make a mommy meal” Shannon said.
Shannon has fun sized containers inside the meal box which she fills with chicken nuggets and potato smiley faces.
“Put your own food in the cute containers, add a toy, and a juice box and instantly mom’s dinner, is totally good” she said.
Other parents responded positively to the video, which gained over 97 K views on TikTok.
One woman commented “Omg this is so smart! I need this in my life.”
