Does a bra count as a bikini top? When you’re Rihanna, the answer is yes.
The pop star, 33, wore lingerie in the pool for a series of photos posted by her Savage X Fenty label’s Instagram account over the weekend.
“Billion dollar smile,” the brand captioned snaps of the newly-minted billionaire cooling off in her lingerie line’s unlined logo bra ($44.95), accessorized with sunglasses and gold chains.
She also took a dip in a Savage X Fenty crotchless catsuit ($74.95), a figure-hugging design featuring a plunging V-neck and open back.
While the bad gal’s summer style is, in fact, all lingerie, many fans hoped she was expanding her empire into swimwear.
“Is she swimming in lingerie or y’all make swimsuits now,” wrote one commenter, while another asked, “Is this a bra or are we finally getting Savage swimwear?”
It’s not the first time the Fenty founder has brought lingerie beyond the bedroom, as she wore a different version of the crotchless catsuit while making dinner at home in May.
She’s also bared her bra during her many high-fashion outings in New York City, whether going to the grocery store, grabbing breakfast or channeling Madonna for a night out in a nightie.
While it remains to be seen whether she’ll follow Kylie Jenner’s lead by launching a swimwear line, she did release Fenty’s first fragrance earlier this month.
In addition to cooling down in hot lingerie looks, the star’s summer has included plenty of outings with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky, ranging from a PDA-packed Miami trip to a shopping spree in the Big Apple.
Must be love — and lingerie — on the brain, indeed.
